future when British military equipment is shipped to China fro

any British dependencies such as Hongkong or Singapore etc.,

the consignment should receive the endorsement of the Chinese

Legation in Great Britain before export be nermitted and that

failing such endorsement, shipment be invariably prohibited,

so as to remove a source of irregularity and strengthen

friendly relations.
